It employs universal inputs (TC, RTD, DC) with INSTANT ACCURACY™. Direct connection of Zirconia probes is also supported for carbon potential control in atmospheric combustion applications (heat treatment industry). The advanced control algorithm and gain scheduling gives straight line control, even in difficult non-linear applications and automatic tuning simplifies commissioning.

A setpoint programming option allows storage of up to 50 programs (500 segments, 16 digital events, gauranteed dwell, holdback) and each can profile up to three setpoints.

Using internal Toolkit blocks, including timers and totalizers, customized user configurations and special machine control applications can be created. Configuration is by the front panel or via iTools.

The 2604 is available with high speed Modbus® RTU, DeviceNet™ and Profibus®-DP (in the ‘f’ version) digital communications. The 2604 is available with powerful preprogrammed applications such as melt pressure and carbon potential.

2000 I/O Expander

The 2604 has fixed and modular I/O and can use the 2000 I/O Expander to provide additional input/output connections. The 2000 I/O Expander is a DIN Rail mounted 24Vdc powered digital I/O expansion unit which uses proprietary serial comms to increase up to 20 each the number of digital inputs and outputs to the 2604.

Overview
The UDC1200 & UDC1700 are microprocessor-based 1/16 DIN and 1/8 DIN controllers, which combine a high degree of functionality and reliability at low cost. They are fully dedicated to monitor and control temperatures, pressures and levels in a wide range of applications such as environmental chambers, furnaces, ovens, packaging machines and other applications in plastics and the food and beverage industries. The large and easy-to-read dual 4-digit display and tactile keypad make the UDC1200 and UDC1700 easy to configure and use. Their outstanding flexibility enables you to configure any unit for any application and change it if required.
For the thousands of satisfied UDC1000/1500 users, the UDC1200/ 1700 controllers are downward compatible to existing UDC1000/1500 applications and installations.

The DC1000 family of microprocessor based controllers combine a high degree of functionality and reliability at a very low price.
Available in 4 different formats : 1/16 DIN, 1/8 DIN, 3/16 DIN, 1/4 DIN.
These controllers are ideal for regulating temperature in a variety of applications, including :

The DC1000 family provides basic control requirements, plus advanced features such as motor position control, phase angle power control and Setpoint programming.

Easy to configure Two different configuration levels provide easy access to parameters. A 4-digit security code prevents unauthorized changes. Parameters can also be hidden to the user to prevent mis-configuration of the unit

Various Control algorithms
The DC1000 series of controllers provide several different algorithms:
  • PID or ON/OFF control.
  • Heat/Cool algorithms with 2 different PID sets.
  • Motor position control without slidewire feedback.
  • Single phase control, with or without zero crossover control.
  • Three phase control, with or without zero crossover control.

Dual display and Bargraph
Two large 4 digits displays and one 10 LED bargraph display PV, SP and configuration parameters. Up to 8 LEDs display the status of the different Outputs (Control, Alarm,..,) and also provides indication of the Auto/Manual and Programmer states.

Setpoint Programming
Two programs are available, with a maximum of 8 segments per program. The 2 programs can be linked together to form a single 16 segment program.
Extended Alarm capability
Three different alarm outputs are available per instrument, 17 alarm modes are configurable. Autotuning capability.

Communications
RS232 or RS485 Modbus rtu/ASCII protocol is optionally available. Upto 30 DC1000 Controllers can be connected to a single host computer. The host computer can change the SP, monitor the PV, the output or change the configuration of the unit.

Remote Setpoint capability.

OVERVIEW
The DC1000 family of microprocessor based controllers combine a high degree of functionality and reliability at a very low price.
Available in 4 different formats : 1/16 DIN, 1/8 DIN, 3/16 DIN, 1/4 DIN.
These controllers are ideal for regulating temperature in a variety of applications, including :
  • Dryers.
  • Semiconductor packaging / testing.
  • Plastic processing.
  • Packaging machinery.
  • Painting and coating.
  • Climatic chambers.
The DC1000 family provides basic control requirements, plus advanced features such as motor position control, phase angle power control and Setpoint programming.

Easy to configure Two different configuration levels provide easy access to parameters. A 4-digit security code prevents unauthorized changes. Parameters can also be hidden to the user to prevent mis-configuration of the unit

Various Control algorithms
The DC1000 series of controllers provide several different algorithms:
  • PID or ON/OFF control.
  • Heat/Cool algorithms with 2 different PID sets.
  • Motor position control without slidewire feedback.
  • Single phase control, with or without zero crossover control.
  • Three phase control, with or without zero crossover control.

Dual display and Bargraph
Two large 4 digits displays and one 10 LED bargraph display PV, SP and configuration parameters. Up to 8 LEDs display the status of the different Outputs (Control, Alarm,..,) and also provides indication of the Auto/Manual and Programmer states.

Setpoint Programming
Two programs are available, with a maximum of 8 segments per program. The 2 programs can be linked together to form a single 16 segment program.
Extended Alarm capability
Three different alarm outputs are available per instrument, 17 alarm modes are configurable. Autotuning capability.

Communications
RS232 or RS485 Modbus rtu/ASCII protocol is optionally available. Upto 30 DC1000 Controllers can be connected to a single host computer. The host computer can change the SP, monitor the PV, the output or change the configuration of the unit.

Remote Setpoint capability.

Analog Inputs 
The UDC3500 has up to three Universal analog inputs with a typical accuracy of +/-0.10% of full-scale input and a typical resolution of 16 bits. These can easily be configured to operate as 2 Universal and 2 High Level or as 1 Universal and 4 High Level inputs. All analog inputs are sampled six times per second (every 166 milliseconds). The first, or Process Variable input, can be one of various thermocouple, RTD, Radiamatic or linear actuations as shown in Table 1. Linear actuations have thermocouple, RTD and Radiamatic transmitter characterization capability as a standard feature. Linear actuations also have square root capability. The optional second and third inputs are isolated from each other and all other circuits and accept the same actuations as input one. These optional inputs can each be split into two high level inputs. The fourth input is enabled by first configuring Input 2 as a 20 mA or 5 Vdc input type (High Level Analog Input - HLAI). Input 4 is then available as a high level input.
